Tuesday (Saturday) Tallies

30

I haven’t made any progress on my patchwork blanket, but I have added a few rows to my chevron scarf

I’ve decided to add as many colors as I can…as random as possible. No color rules…just taupe thrown in every two or three color changes. A beautiful scarf from LazyTcrochet inspired my choice of taupe. I’m using my own pattern for this one.

I finished prepping the printer tray. I’ve been so busy with work and the house stuff so Michael took this project over (even he must be getting tired of waiting for me to make progress on all of these projects)…haha

He primed and used a whole can of spray paint while I worked a few hours last weekend.

It still needs a couple more coats of paint…and I’m out of course. So this project is on hold until I can get more turquoise paint.

I get so frustrated because I can’t seem to finish anything. With the house buying and work, I just can’t seem to find the time.

This weekend I’m working on the chevron scarf and patchwork, and smashing, and cleaning, and packing…maybe;)

Edit:  As of today (Sunday) I have another can of paint…so this project is back on again. Wait…It’s raining here, but I am determined to finish today. We’ll see;)

  5. Turquoise is my favorite color. Several people told me they would leave it without painting, but I had my heart set on the turq. Have a great weekend:)

  7. Thanks so much…Someone needs to cheer me on and motivate me. I used to be more of a progress crocheter (I liked instant finished projects). Now I realize that I should be more of a process crocheter (where I enjoy the actual process and not focus on getting it done) I guess we will always feel the need to stress ourselves out over something;)
I hope you have a great week.

  9. I love the scarf and the colors are just perfect! I love turq. as well, it reminds me of the ocean in the Caribbean. It is bold move to color it this color, but I know it will cheer you up each time you look at it!

  11. That scarf is gorgeous. I hope you will share the pattern. You have inspired me to focus on small steps at a time. I am amazed that you are
doing so many things at once and making measured progress in all of them. I love your blog.

  12. I love the scarf, don't worry about getting things done, you work, you have moved and you have a darling daughter to take care of……be easy on yourself.

  13. Love the chevron scarf! The brown definitely makes all the colors work together tremendously well. I wish it were cool enough to wear scarves here in Florida; I'd definitely want to make one similar to yours.

  14. I have been wanting to make a ripple scarf for months so I am now full of inspiration having seen yours! It's absolutely stunning!!

    Merry Christmas hon.
