Pretty Flowers

I love the flowers around the house. The previous owners planted all kinds of perennials.

I can’t wait for all of the lilies and irises to open
I’ve never had a rose bush before…I sure hope I can figure out how to take care of it. Suggestions are welcome.

Ireland saw me with the camera and ran outside in her pajamas…silly girl

The rosemary keeps growing
I found this mushroom shaped bird house at an antique shop last week.

Sorry, no crochet this time. Maybe next time I can show some real progress on the yarn storage. I’m making a little progress…winding one or two yarn balls every day.

I guess I’m just more interested in spending time outside and enjoying spring:)

Have a great week

  5. You have a beautiful garden, I could happily get lost in it. Your daughter is so beautiful and they know a good moment for pic when they see one. Roses are pretty easy to care for, they like some plant food the correct pruning at the correct time, I believe it is around end of Winter and then again in the early spring (but do check this out for where you are as that will make a difference). 9. Me too! I've been working outside so much and the fresh air and hard work have me so tired I just fall into bed at night no needlework, no reading…nada! LOL! Your yard is lovely and the mushroom bird feeder is darling! LOVE! I was just getting ready to place a yarn order as I don't have much of a stash really and one of my YOP projects is your Springtime rug but I may make it solid colored for me.
Your little girl is so cute and I'd like pj's that pretty! I love her name as I am Irish…why didn't I think of that when I had my daughter? But I named her Amy Elizabeth with Elizbeth being a family name. (Liz was what they called my Mom and my Great Grandmother was Lizzie and she was from Ireland). Anyway, Ireland is a beautiful name and a beautiful place which I would love to visit some day. Take care! Happy Spring!

  11. Thank you. We are loving it. There are a total of about 9.5 acres, with about 5 wooded acres. So there are lots of grass to mow;)

  13. Thank you. The spring rug done in a solid color is sooooo much easier. I have always wanted to visit Ireland…it is at the top of my bucket list. My daughter Ireland's middle name is Elizabeth as well.
    Happy Spring to you:)
