Finally…My Finished Cardi…Almost

21

A couple of months ago I made this cute cardi for me:) After some motivation from Janette over at The Green Dragonfly, I finally took some photos of mine.

I found the right buttons/ closure thingies at my LYS and took these pics. I need to redo one of the closies…it’s pretty darn crooked.

Overall, I’m really happy with it. I used Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and I love it. I think it looks better with a tank instead of long sleeves.

The photo is not so great but you get the idea.

You can find the Free pattern here. It’s an easy and versatile garment to make. I finished this in 2 nights (minus finding the buttons and sewing them on)

Right now I’m having a giveaway, so go to my previous post and leave a comment to enter to win. I’m giving away two hats…probably this Sunday.

Have a wonderful week:)

  1. Thanks all.
About the yarn: It is Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino (bought at my LYS), 4 skeins which is about 550 yards, color 340051, dye lot 203 (Ravelry is so handy:)
    I used an I (5.5mm) hook

  2. Oh gosh…I forgot to add the yarn weight which is the most important thing about the yarn.
    It's sportweight and 55% Wool, 33% Microfiber, 12% Cashmere

  3. I love love love those clasps they are awesome, they finish it off so nicely! Ive been having trouble commenting on your blog – Ive been trying for the past 2 days! Ive finally figured if I comment as my google account it works! Jxx

  4. I don't know about the comments. I have noticed they are looking pretty wacky on my end. Every time I click on a post to read them, the font changes. Weird…I need to check this out. About the clasps I really like them…but each time I look at the photo of them… I ask myself if it's time for some reading glasses. What was I looking at to make them soooo crooked? 🙂
